Today: 4pm, Ch 13: TPWD’s Wildlife survey of Deer Park Prairie & Sheldon Lake State Park in the News!

Kelly Norrid, Texas Parks & Wildlife Department’s (TPWD) Urban Biologist & Pablo Pardo, TPWD’s summer intern was just interviewed about their Wildlife Survey of Deer Park Prairie (a high quality relatively small 54- acre prairie remnant) and Sheldon Lake State Park (a large, restored prairie) by Channel 13 News. The piece will air today at 4 p.m. on Channel 13, ABC.

Pablo will be talking about the results of his survey on Wednesday, July 22, at the HNPAT (Houston Chapter – Native Prairies Association of Texas) meeting at the Cherie Flores Pavilion in the new McGovern Centennial Gardens, Hermann Park (1500 Hermann Dr., parking lot entrance across the street from the Health Museum).
