Subject: Work Day On TNC Mowotony Prairie 02/27/15

…A work day at the Mowotony Prairie (part of the Texas Nature Conservancy’s Nash Prairie Preserve) is being scheduled for Friday February 27th from 9 to 4.
The work includes clearing a barbwire fence of brush and moving the debris to a  pile in preparation for a prescribed burn.  The work will be done with chainsaws and loppers  Also need are people to help drag the debris to the burn pile.
There is not enough room to park at the Mowotony Prairie.  The road does not have a shoulder and the ditch is steep. We will meet at the Nash Prairie and shuttle to the Mowotony.  Do not be concerned about not being able to leave the Mowotony when you want to . I will take anyone back to their car when ever they want to leave.
